I would like to thank every one who attended Marys funeral at our lady of Lincoln church and donating so much to our chosen charities £282 92 .I would like to thank all Marys family my family friends, colleges for all the love and support they have given to me and the boys. i always knew that Mary was of a kind but all the tributes and kind words I have received just confirms that. just to let every one know I have been the luckiest man in the world to have spent so many years in her company .I am Gutted at this moment in time but I know that i have so many memories to comfort me and when the tears stop I will always have them . To Mary's family you have faced one of the worst days. You did so well, in your readings and memories to share with us all, in the service. It was an absolute privilege to work with Mary, she inspired us all, and had so many stories to share with a twinkle in her eye and laughter. I will always have fond memories of her kindness and genuine personality.

Oh Mary, today is a sad day as we get ready to say goodbye to you, but the sky will be a little brighter tonight with your shining star beaming. So many wonderful, funny memories. You will be greatly missed. X x x

Mary was the best manager I ever worked for. Not only did she make four strangers into a successful team but she showed me what compassion and concern really meant. Time after time she would "go the extra mile" for families and the many children who came through the Centre in Birchwood. When I thought we could do no more, Mary would always be able to find something else, which would make all the diffence. Without doubt she will be greatly missed, not just by her family but by everyone who came into contact with her.

Dearest Mary, Once a colleague, forever a friend! I will always be eternally grateful to you Mary for taking me under your wing way back in June 2005 when the Community Team was formed. You supported and helped me shape my professional path. We shared so many great memories at work and out of work we spent many a happy hour putting the world to rights, and I’ve lost count how many times you and Cliff help me move house…..❤️ Your kindness, generosity, empathy and sympathy shone through everything you touched. ❤️ You always said there’s only one Sam Qureshi, I always replied, there will only ever be one Mary Moorman and I was right. Your legacy lives on in those who learnt so much from you. All my love xx

Mary You will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. You were always available to offer advise and support, and most importantly, you provided Harrison with many wonderful memories that he will cherish for the rest of his life. I'll be eternally grateful to you for being so kind and loving to so many of us. I'm relieved to know you'll be watching over Harrison and guiding him through life. Mary, I will miss you terribly. Mary today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary but sadly you had to leave, we had 46 years to get know each other and we made the most of it . All through our marriage you were always by my side through good and bad times with your support , love and wisdom which i needed from time to time on our path of life together. Now you are no longer physically with me Ii know you will be watching over me and the boys .You were my wife but most of all you were my best friend, Mary goodnight and god bless. My heart will be with you forever love Cliff .

They say the good go too soon and Mary you were one of the best. I loved working with you and creating a great team at SureStart Birchwood. Your wonderful sense of humour and drive for getting the best for children and their families were second to none and I learned so much from you. You had a knack of making everyone feel special and everyone who crossed your path was lucky to do so. You will be very sadly missed but fondly remembered for the amazing soul you shared on Earth.

A truly great lady who always offered the best advice when needed. Rest in peace Mary xxx

Dear Mary, my memories of you are of a gentle, kind and lovely person. Someone who would always help others, and was passionate about her work with children and families. Working with you was always a pleasure, you were brilliant at getting to the heart of a matter and coming up with a plan, no matter how difficult the circumstances. But we also shared friendship and much laughter and I loved your stories of Ireland and your family. My sincere condolences to Cliff, your children, grandchildren, brother and sisters and your mum. You spoke of your own family with so much love and pride that I felt I almost knew them myself. I’m so sorry that I am not in the country to pay my respects in person, but know that I will always remember you with love.

When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free! Miss me a little - but not for long And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love as sisters that we once shared, Miss me, but let me go.
